The petitioners, call upon the Government of Canada to support Bill C-218, the Railway Noise and Vibration Control Act, which would prohibit railway companies from engaging in noisy rail yard activities in residential areas between the hours of 10:00 pm and 8:00 am, Monday to Friday, and at any time on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday.
