Starting today, the first group of clients eligible for the Canada Dental Care Program (CDCP) can visit a dentist or oral health provider. If you have registered for the CDCP and received your welcome package from Sun Life, you should have been notified of the date you can begin seeing a dentist or oral health provider. If you registered over the phone but haven't received your welcome package, please contact the CDCP Call Center directly at 1-833-537-4342 to check your application status.
Seniors aged 70 and above who missed the early phone registration can now register online starting May 1. Additionally, starting today, all seniors aged 65 to 69 can register online. Adults with a valid Disability Tax Credit (DTC) certificate and children under 18 can begin online registration on June 1. All other eligible Canadian residents can register starting in 2025.

Dear Neighbours,
I hope you and your family are doing well.
It’s an honour to serve as your Member of Parliament in New Westminster – Burnaby, one of the most culturally diverse communities in Canada.
On Monday, New Democrats announced the implementation of the NDP’s national dental care program, which will save millions of families across Canada around $1,300 a year. In my riding of New Westminster – Burnaby, over 26,000 seniors, people living with a disability, and families struggling to pay the bills will no longer have to choose between a visit to the dentist or keep a roof over their head.
